'King of the Hill' Is Reportedly in "Hot Negotiations" for a Series Revival

With so many beloved TV shows and movies under his belt, it should come as no surprise that Mike Judge is always working on something. Following news of a Beavis and Butt-Head movie, his next big move is reportedly a King of the Hill reboot.

The show had previously been considered for a comeback way back in 2017. Now, a writer on the show strongly hinted that it's happening.

In a Reddit AMA [via /Film], writer Brent Forrester said that the show is almost definitely about to return.

When asked if the show was on its way back, he shared the following:

I am sure Greg Daniels and Mike Judge will murder me for sharing this but… HELL YES. They are in hot negotiations to bring back King of the Hill. The Trump administration made it suddenly very relevant again. The characters have all aged 15 years. The project is sooooo good. Okay I've said too much :)

Last year, Daniels had suggested the King of the Hill revival was dead in the water. Then again, that was before there were half a dozen new streaming services all desperate for content.
