It's early enough in the year that there's still a lot of pop culture optimism. We've got film festivals, summer blockbusters and another award season to look forward to, so hopes are high. That said, it's not all good news — we're also getting Kindergarten Cop 2 in 2016.
The film is a straight-to-VOD release starring Dolph Lundgren as Arnie's accented, buff surrogate. The movie was directed by a man named Don Michael Paul, whose credits include bit parts in a variety of CSI episodes as well as helming other sequels like Jarhead 2, Tremors 5 and a Taken TV movie.
As you might expect, the brief trailer is full of cartoonish punching sounds and kicks to the groin along with a scene where Dolph Lundgren snaps his fingers like a sassy woman on Maury. He's not the only one doing zany stuff — one of the kindergarteners pisses into a bucket in the middle of class! There's no question that this FBI agent is in for his toughest mission yet.
