Despite a lot of promises, Kanye West left fans empty handed this weekend. While both Kanye and his wife Kim Kardashian repeatedly promised the arrival of his new album Jesus Is King, the record did not arrive. However, Kanye did find time to announce a new film project surrounding the album.
A documentary, also titled Jesus Is King, will premiere in IMAX theatres on October 25, according to an announcement post.
As previously reported, Kanye held various "Jesus Is King: A Kanye West Experience" events in the U.S. over the weekend. However, his actual Jesus Is King album did not drop, despite very public promises of it arriving on Friday (September 27) and then even Sunday (September 29).
At this point, it's unclear when the album will arrive, but if you still have some patience left, stay tuned.

The film apparently follows Kanye and his crew during a performance of songs from Jesus Is King at one of his Sunday Service events at the Roden Crater, an installation work by artist James Turrell in Arizona's Painted Desert. We are honored to host #KanyeWest tonight at the #UnitedPalace for "Jesus Is King: A Kanye West Experience"https://t.co/YoK2m750oS
