Kanye West and Kim Kardashian have welcomed their third child. Born via surrogate, the baby girl arrived yesterday (January 15).
According to an announcement obtained by TMZ, the child was born at 12:47 a.m., weighing seven pounds and six ounces.
As previously revealed, the couple opted to use a surrogate after Kardashian experienced significant pain during her last pregnancy and was diagnosed with placenta accreta.
Kardashian's full statement reads:
Kanye and I are happy to announce the arrival of our healthy, beautiful baby girl. We are incredibly grateful to our surrogate who made out dreams come true with the greatest gift one could give and to our wonderful doctors and nurses for their special care. North and Saint are especially thrilled to welcome their baby sister.
