Just a Friendly Reminder That Paul Rudd Owns a Candy Shop

BY Sarah MurphyPublished Jan 6, 2020

Paul Rudd was nominated for a Golden Globe thanks to his performance as two versions of himself in Living with Yourself, and on the red carpet, he reminded us that he actually does lead a double life — as an actor and a candy store owner.

Rudd was interviewed by Ryan Seacrest about his dual role on the Netflix show, explaining, "It's a little strange but you start to get into the groove of being able to kind of keep track of both in my mind."

Seacrest then jumped to Rudd's other profession as a co-owner of a candy shop called Samuel's Sweet Shop in Rhinebeck in Upstate New York.

Rudd explained that he co-owns it with his wife Julie Yaeger, Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Hilarie Burton.

He also plugged some of the store's specialties like clodhoppers and sour Santas.
