Jonathan Glazer Is Finally Starting Production on His 'Under the Skin' Follow-Up

BY Josiah HughesPublished Oct 23, 2019

Accomplished music video director and filmmaker Jonathan Glazer hasn't released much since 2013's divisive Under the Skin (a film so confounding that we reviewed it three times). Fortunately, that's about to change as he ramps up production on his latest effort.

According to Deadline, Glazer has finalized a deal with A24, Film4, Access Entertainment and producer James Wilson to produce his next project.

Details are incredibly scarce, and the film is still untitled at this point. That said, the movie is rumoured to be loosely inspired by The Zone of Interest, a novel about a Nazi officer who becomes enamoured by his camp commandant's wife.

Adding to the rumours, Glazer has confirmed publicly that he was working on a film set during the Holocaust. He has been attached to this project for five or six years.

Stay tuned for more details on the next Glazer film as they become available.
