Jon Bernthal Says He "Lost All Respect" for Kevin Spacey While Shooting 'Baby Driver'

Earlier this year, Edgar Wright delivered his acclaimed musical thriller comedy Baby Driver. Since then, allegations have surfaced suggesting that star Kevin Spacey is a habitual sexual predator. According to his Baby Driver co-star Jon Bernthal, he's also just a dick.

In a new interview on SiriusXM [via IndieWire], Bernthal said he wasn't surprised to learn of Spacey's many sexual harassment allegations after seeing the way Spacey behaved on Baby Driver.

"Going on to that set and working with him, I wasn't there much, but when I was there, he really rubbed me the wrong way. I thought he was a bit of a bully," Bernthal recalled. "I didn't really care for the way he was behaving toward some of the other people on set."

Bernthal continued, "I remember at the time thinking, 'Man, if that was a woman that he was talking to, I would've done something, I would've said something. I was really happy to sort of get out of there for that reason, and I just remember losing a ton of respect for him."

The actor added that he's not necessarily equipped to comment on the sexual harassment allegations. "I think it would be weak of me to sort of pile on about some shit that I don't know about, but the kind of man he was when I saw him, working with him, made me lose all respect for him and I was enormously disappointed," he said.

Since the sexual harassment allegations about Spacey emerged, production on his Netflix political drama House of Cards has stalled. That said, fans have some big ideas for who could replace him on the show.
