Johnny Depp is having trouble trying to sell his horse farm. After failing to receive an offer near the asking price of $2.9 million USD last year, Depp has put it back on the market at the reduced price of $1.6 million.

The 42-acre property — dubbed "Betty Sue's Family Farm" as a tribute to Depp's late mother — boasts a 6,635-square-foot, six-bedroom house, as well as two barns with 12 stalls and five paddocks.

Depp, who was born in Owensboro, KY, originally purchased the farm in 1995 for $950,000.

Radio personality Rick Dees put an offer of $1.4 million on the property last year, but it was rejected by Depp's portfolio managers.

The actor was recently removed from Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean franchise; he played Captain Jack Sparrow for the duration of five films. The decision came just a few months after the Depp-starring City of Lies was pulled from its scheduled theatrical release.

He is currently starring as Gellert Grindelwald in the Harry Potter spinoff series Fantastic Beasts, though J.K. Rowling and co. have faced fierce criticism for hiring the actor amidst abuse allegations from his ex-wife Amber Heard.
