Please Don't Eat Popcorn or Cough During John Krasinski's 'A Quiet Place'

It's right there in the title

Best known as nice guy Jim from the U.S. version of The Office, John Krasinski impressed audiences with his foray into horror filmmaking via his new film A Quiet Place this weekend.

As the title implies, the film explores the idea of silence as a means of survival against a terrifying monster — which left viewers both unsettled by the onscreen action and terrified to make noise.

Popcorn eaters and coughers (and popcorn eaters choking on kernels, presumably) had a particularly stressful time watching the flick. As for those who couldn't put down the snacks or stifle their bodily sounds, they're getting roasted on social media.

The film is in theatres now.
