With a booming music career and a recently won lawsuit, John Carpenter is having one hell of a year. It looks like the momentum won't slow down any time soon, either, as the veteran filmmaker currently has four projects in the works.
As Bloody Disgusting reports, Carpenter's wife and producing partner Kim Carpenter recently appeared on the Sandy POV podcast. There, she revealed that her husband has four television series on the way.
"Right now, there's four series waiting to go to network," she said. "As far as I'm concerned, we'll do all of them. I mean, they're great, and they're different from anything that's out there, and they again push the boundaries of what's horror."
Kim clarified that she too would be involved in the work. "[John] would be directing pilots and we would be executive producing them," she said. "There's sci-fi, there's horror, there's one that I guess would be [a] sci fi-horror futuristic kind of thing. They're all across the board. I think they'll fulfill what people expect out of him by also being unpredictable."
