Jersey Shore reality TV celebrity Ronnie Ortiz-Magro has reportedly been arrested for kidnapping, which allegedly took place a domestic dispute with his on-again-off-again girlfriend Jen Harley.
According to TMZ, the couple got into an argument at a Los Angeles Airbnb. Ortiz-Magro allegedly slapped and punched Harley, and then followed her out of the house with a knife while holding their infant daughter.
A number of people called 9-1-1 after hearing Harley in distress. By the time cops arrived, Ortiz-Magro had allegedly dropped the knife and locked himself inside the house with his daughter.
When Ortiz-Magro did not co-operate with law enforcement, they broke down the door and tasered him. He was taken to hospital,and has since been arrested for kidnapping. His bail is set at $100,000 USD.
Harley reportedly told cops that Ortiz-Magro had taken cocaine prior to or during the incident. She also immediately informed them that their young child was involved.
The one-year-old did not suffer any injuries. Harley reportedly had visible marks on her face.
The couple have been involved in multiple domestic disputes, including a highly publicized incident in which Harley dragged Ortiz-Magro with her car, as he tried to get out of the vehicle.
