​Janelle Monáe Announces Release Date for 'Dirty Computer' Film Project

Janelle Monáe has been teasing the arrival of Dirty Computer with audio samples like "I Like That," and memorable visuals for "Make Me Feel," "Django Jane" and "PYNK" — and now we know when the full visual component of the project will arrive.
 
The 44-minute Dirty Computer "emotion picture" will premiere on April 26, airing simultaneously on MTV and BET.
 
As previously reported, the audio version of Dirty Computer will arrive the following day (April 27) via Warner.

Dirty Computer marks Monáe's first studio album since 2013's Electric Lady. Since then, she's moved into the film world, starting in Oscar-nominated titles like Moonlight and Hidden Figures.
