Jack White Readies 'Kneeling at the Anthem D.C.' Concert Film

The movie will be accompanied by a new live EP

Having steadily been touring behind his Boarding House Reach album these past few months, Jack White has now announced a new concert film.

Jack White: Kneeling at the Anthem D.C. is set to arrive September 21 though Amazon Prime Video. The live portion of the release was shot during White's May 30 tour stop at the Anthem in Washington, D.C.

Directed by Emmett Malloy, the film captures White's performance, in addition his time exploring the United States capital. The film also documents a surprise performance White gave for students at Woodrow Wilson High School.

A premiere screening of the film is set to take place September 18 at the Theatre at Ace Hotel in Los Angeles. It will also include a Q&A with director Malloy.

Previously, Malloy had helmed the White Stripes' 2009 doc Under Great White Northern Lights.

Alongside the film, Amazon Music will release a six-song live EP, pulling highlights from White's set at the Anthem.
