J.K. Rowling has managed to alienate nearly every Harry Potter cast member and a great deal of her fans because of her constant need to post her bad takes on transgender and nonbinary identities. Rather than take the hint, however, she's decided to just keep posting about it, and things keep getting worse.

In her latest Twitter rant, Rowling suggested that hormone treatment and surgery are a new form of "conversion therapy."

"Many, myself included, believe we are watching a new kind of conversion therapy for young gay people, who are being set on a lifelong path of medicalization that may result in the loss of their fertility and/or full sexual function," she wrote as part of an enormous Twitter thread.

The rant was in response to user @TrinerScot, who had reacted negatively to Rowling liking a post that suggested hormone prescriptions were the "new antidepressants" that were being prescribed out of "pure laziness":

Taking a screenshot of Triner's post, Rowling started her thread by saying, "I've ignored fake tweets attributed to me and RTed widely. I've ignored porn tweeted at children on a thread about their art. I've ignored death and rape threats. I'm not going to ignore this."

Once again, Rowling's rant has been widely denounced by people of all walks of life. Model and activist Munroe Bergdorf summed it up well:
