There's always been a pretty, pretty good chance that Larry David would return to his beloved comedy Curb Your Enthusiasm. That said, it's been half a decade since its eighth season, so we were beginning to lose hope. Fortunately, Larry's just announced plans to return to the show.
According to a press release, David is on board to create a ninth season of Curb for HBO. The news was confirmed by Casey Bloys, president of programming for HBO.
"We're thrilled that Larry has decided to do a new season of Curb and can't wait to see what he has planned," Bloys said.
Larry David himself added, "In the immortal words of Julius Caesar, 'I left, I did nothing, I returned.'"
Season 9 of Curb is expected to arrive in 2017.
