It's 'Mean Girls' Day and Twitter Is Having Too Much Fun

"On October 3rd, he asked me what day it was." "It's October 3rd."

Back in 2004, before Lindsay Lohan was chasing down families and accusing them of child trafficking and getting punched in the face for it, she was best known for playing innocent high school newbie Cady Heron in the Tina Fey-penned Mean Girls. It was a simpler time — a time when hottie Aaron Samuels turned around in class and asked what day it was and Cady told him, "October 3rd."

Since then, October 3 has been celebrated by fans of the film everywhere as "Mean Girls Day," and despite Lohan's questionable behaviour as of late, this year is no different.

If anything, this year is particularly special because October 3 falls on a Wednesday, and all Plastics know that "on Wednesdays, we wear pink."

As such, fans, brands and actors from the film alike have gone wild on Twitter and Instagram, sharing memes and quotes from the movie.

In conclusion, "You go, Glen Coco!" You go out there and keep trying to make "fetch" happen for another year.
