While Rob McElhenney is best known for creating It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, the comedic hero is branching out in 2020. His new gaming-centric show Mythic Quest: Raven's Banquet is set to premiere on Apple TV+ next month, but even before Season 1 begins, McElhenney's new show has already been renewed for a second season.

Apple made the announcement about Mythic Quest Season 2 on Sunday (January 19) during the Television Critics Association 2020 Winter Press Tour in Pasadena, CA. This comes ahead of the show's Season 1 premiere on February 7.

For the unfamiliar Mythic Quest features McElhenney as a fictional gaming company's creative director who's in midst of creating some kind of World of Warcraft-like hit. But by the looks of things, McElhenney's character comes with quite the wild ego, leading to some seriously wild workplace situations.

You can watch the trailer for Season 1 down below.

In addition to McElhenney, Mythic Quest was created by It's Always Sunny's Charlie Day and Megan Ganz. The show also stars Charlotte Nicdao, F. Murray Abraham, Imani Hakim, David Hornsby, Danny Pudi, Ashly Burch and Jessie Ennis.
