With The Witcher breaking out as a huge hit for Netflix, anticipation is only growing for Season 2. And rumours are now swirling that Star Wars legend Mark Hamill may be joining the show.
The news comes via a report by We Got This Covered, which reports a reliable source of the publication has revealed that the Luke Skywalker actor has been offered the part of Vesemir, the mentor of Geralt of Rivia.
While there was lots of talk about Vesemir in Season 1, the character never actually showed his face, leaving that door open for Hamill to take on the role. However, at this point, it's unclear if he'll accept the part or really how accurate the whole rumour is to begin with.
That said, Hamill has addressed the idea of taking on the part previously on Twitter, where many fans have been petition he join The Witcher.

The Witcher Season 2 is set to air sometime in 2021. Before that, though, we'll be getting an animated film called The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf.I have no idea what this is or what it's about but agree it could/should be played by me. 👍
