'House of Cards' Will Have a Shortened Season 6 Without Kevin Spacey
Following multiple allegations of sexual assault and harassment, Kevin Spacey has become a major liability in Hollywood. His alleged actions caused his hit Netflix show House of Cards to halt production on Season 6. Now, it looks as if the series will go ahead without him.

The final season of the show will be shortened to include just eight episodes. Spacey will not be present for any of the season, as it will instead focus on Robin Wright's character.

"We were really excited we could get to an agreement… for the conclusion of the show," Netflix boss Ted Sarandos said at UBS's Global Media and Communications Conference [via Variety].

The show's hiatus will continue through the new year, with production expected to resume in early 2018.
