Here's Your Frightening First Look at the Film Adaptation of 'IT'
Having been in ongoing development since 2009, the film adaptation of Stephen King's 1986 novel IT is set to hit theatres this September. Before it arrives, viewers can get a preliminary look at the film with its first trailer.

The trailer finds a young boy sailing a paper boat down the gutter, ultimately losing it to a curbside storm drain. Upon looking down, he catches a glimpse of frightening clown character Pennywise, kickstarting a look into the villain's history of murder and violence in their town of Derry, Maine.

It arrives in theatres on September 8 and was directed by Andrés Muschietti. Watch the trailer below.
