Having learned of Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross's ties to the project this past August, we now have our first look at Pixar's animated feature Soul.

The brief clip finds Jamie Foxx voicing Joe Gardner, a middle school music teacher and aspiring jazz musician who soon finds himself in the "You Seminar," an otherworldly place where souls are trained to become individuals. It is there where Gardner meets 22 (Tina Fey), a soul who "doesn't think life on Earth is all it's cracked up to be."

As previously reported, Soul is directed by Pete Docter (Up), and also features Daveed DiggsQuestlove (of the Roots) and Phylicia Rashad in its voice cast. Reznor and Ross will score the film, while Jon Batiste is set to write original jazz songs.

Soul arrives in theatres June 19, 2020.
