While an Ozzy Osbourne biopic is reportedly in the works, the Prince of Darkness will first be the subject of a new instalment of A&E's Biography documentary series.

Biography: The Nine Lives of Ozzy Osbourne airs September 7 at 9 p.m. ET, and will explore "how Ozzy has continually reinvented himself and his career to propel himself toward greater success."

You can find a trailer for the documentary below, featuring some incredible selections from the Osbourne family photo albums.

The two-hour doc will feature interviews with Sharon, Kelly and Jack Osbourne, in addition to friends and contemporaries including Rick Rubin, Ice-T, Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie, Korn's Jonathan Davis, Post Malone and more.

Osbourne himself will reflect on "the intimate details of his successes, failures, and his unique ability for survival and perseverance," while also answering questions about his recent Parkinson's diagnosis in never-before-seen interviews.

The Nine Lives of Ozzy Osbourne is produced and directed by R. Greg Johnston, who served as an executive producer on The Osbournes.

As Jack Osbourne told The Talk of Johnston earlier this month, "He knows the family better than anyone. And he came on board, and we basically said, 'All right, let's take the gloves off and get really honest.' And we gave him every bit of footage we have from 50 years of my dad's career. Creatively, it was very much Greg's vision, and I think he knocked it out of the park."

Before The Nine Lives arrives, Osbourne and family will get up to some paranormal activities in another upcoming series.

Osbourne released album Ordinary Man earlier this year and didn't wait long to tease a follow-up.
