The Silence of the Lambs is about to return to our lives via a new TV sequel series called Clarice, and we've now just got our first teaser. Needless to say, it's incredibly eerie.

Coming for CBS, Clarice is set in 1993, meaning it's a full year after the events that took place the original film. This time around, serious FBI badass Clarice Starling will be starred by Rebecca Breeds, as she goes after serial killers and sexual predators.

So far, the teaser isn't giving us much to go on, but it's pretty damn intense regardless. It also ends with a pretty powerful "The silence is over."

You can watch the Clarice teaser down below.

Clarice was written and executive produced by Alex Kurtzman and Jenny Lumet, who also did Star Trek: Discovery. In addition to Breeds, the series will star Kal Penn, Nick Sandow, Michael Cudlitz. Devyn Tyler, Marnee Carpenter and Lucca de Oliveira.

Clarice arrives on CBS on February 11.
