David Gordon Green's Halloween Kills was supposed to be already out by now, but since the world is all messed up, we now won't get the sequel until 2021. So for now, the best we have is a newly shared trailer of sorts showing us a bunch of footage from film.

With an amped-up version of John Carpenter's classic Halloween theme blarring away, Halloween Kills appears to pick up where Green's 2018 Halloween left off. That means, the sequel looks hella dark, complete with an even deadlier Michael Myers, a badass-looking Jamie Lee Curtis and some seriously bloody gore.

As previously reported, Halloween Kills will now arrive on October 15, 2021, while Halloween Ends is scheduled to be released on October 14, 2022.

Earlier today, Green announced he's turned Halloween also into an illustrated kids book called The Legend of Halloween.
