Published Apr 24, 2018Spring has sprung and it's most likely getting nice outside wherever you are, but you'll never know. After all, Netflix has once again compiled a truly mammoth list of new titles to stream this coming month.
Fans of Tina Fey and Robert Carlock's vivid and bright Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt will be pleased to note that the show is returning for Season 4 on May 30. Fey will also be the guest on this month's first episode of My Next Guest Needs No Introduction with David Letterman, which streams on May 4. Another episode, featuring Howard Stern, will arrive on May 31.
The highly anticipated new Netflix Original drama The Rain will make its debut on May 4, along with another new show called A Little Help with Carol Burnett. Season 2 of the excellent Dear White People will arrive that same day.
The first season of Mob Psycho 100 drops on May 22, while Season 2 of Fauda arrives on May 24. The Toys That Made Us will get a Season 2 on May 25, while Bill Nye Saves the World returns with Season 3 on May 11.
Those who ship Tsubasa and Shion will be pleased to note that we're getting more episodes of Terrace House: Opening New Doors on May 22. Throughout May, we'll also be treated to weekly episodes of Riverdale Season 2, Shadowhunters: The Mortal Instruments Season 3, Busted! Season 1, Dynasty Season 1, The Joel McHale Show with Joel McHale Season 1, weekly episodes of the docuseries Explained (beginning on May 23) and the debut of The Break with Michelle Wolf, which launches on May 27.
In addition to the near-endless supply of shows, Netflix also has a growing docket of films on the way. These include Sometimes (May 1), Anon (May 4), Forgive Us Our Debts (May 4), Manhunt (May 4), The Kissing Booth (May 11), Cargo (May 18), Catching Feelings (May 18), Ibiza (May 25) and Sara's Notebook (May 26). Original documentary films include End Game (May 4) and Evil Genius: The True Story of America's Most Diabolical Bank Heist (May 11).
For the comedy heads, the company will drop new specials from John Mulaney (May 1), Ali Wong (May 13), Tig Notaro (May 22), and a collaboration between Steve Martin and Martin Short (May 25).
If you've still got time for some non-exclusive content, Netflix has a long list of titles set to drop. They include Jeepers Creepers 3 (May 1), iZombie Season 4 (May 1), The 100 Season 5 (May 2), Central Intelligence (May 11), Call the Midwife Season 7 (May 15), The Legend of Tarzan (May 18), Brooklyn Nine-Nine Season 5 (May 21), Mother! (May 28) and Disney Pixar's Coco (May 29).
If you're a Netflix completist, however, you've got a lot of binging to do before the calendar flips over. After all, on May 1 the service will lose Collateral, Cool Runnings, In the Heart of the Sea and Mean Girls. Then, on May 2, it will say goodbye to Billy Madison, Planes and Tangled before losing Old School on May 4. Finally, on May 7 Netflix will delete Seasons 1 to 6 of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air from its servers.
