Here's an Awesome 'A Charlie Brown Christmas' Remake with the Kids from 'Stranger Things'

BY Sarah MurphyPublished Oct 28, 2016

We've already seen Stranger Things collide with the musically-minded worlds of Wiz Khalifa, Mac DeMarco and Childish Gambino, but none of those will tug on your heartstrings quite like a new video that combines the beloved characters from the Netflix hit with those of a holiday classic.

A clip shared by YouTube user OnlyLeigh transports the kids from Stranger Things into A Charlie Brown Christmas with pretty amazing results. Will Byers returns from the Upside Down to step into the shoes of the perpetually gloomy Charlie Brown, while Dustin stands in as his trusty sidekick Linus.

Eleven, meanwhile, mans Lucy's psychiatric help booth (offering advice and Eggos), Lucas takes the place of Sally, the voice of Will's mom warbles away like the Peanuts kids' unintelligible teacher, and Mike Wheeler makes an amazing cameo as Schroeder — shredding his piano to the tune of the Stranger Things theme song, as the rest of the animated gang dances on stage.

It's an adorable update on a Christmas classic, and you can check it out below.

Unfortunately, though, even the Peanuts-inspired update couldn't do anything to help Barb.
