Harvey Weinstein has been put into isolation and is being monitored for suspected coronavirus in prison.

According to TMZ, the inmate is running a fever of 101 degrees and doctors believe he has contracted the virus. Weinstein is currently in isolation awaiting results after taking a COVID test yesterday (November 17).

If his test results come back positive, Weinstein will be moved to a medical facility.

"It should come as no surprise that Mr. Weinstein has numerous maladies and conditions including a heart condition, high blood pressure and spinal stenosis," Weinstein's representatives told TMZ.

The added: "We are working with the NYSDOCCS and the excellent team at Wende CF to ensure Mr. Weinstein receives the proper medical attention he needs."

Back in March, the producer had his first coronavirus scare. As an Empire State law enforcement official confirmed to Deadline at the time, the disgraced movie producer and convicted rapist had tested positive for the virus while in prison.

Weinstein is currently serving a 23-year sentence at the Wende Correctional Facility in Erie County, NY. The 68-year-old was found guilty by a jury in New York of criminal sexual assault in the first degree and rape in the third degree.
