Last year, legendary film composer Hans Zimmer toured for the first time, bringing his iconic music to cities across Europe. Now, the Oscar-winning composer has revealed plans to bring his music to live audiences in North America.
Following a previously announced pair of California appearances later this month, Zimmer will return to North America this summer, eventually making his way into Canada for shows in Montreal on July 30 and Toronto on August 1.
According to a press release, the two-part show will open with music from Zimmer's classic movie scores, including pieces from Gladiator, The Lion King and Pirates of the Caribbean. The second half, meanwhile, will feature reimagined versions of music from The Dark Knight trilogy and Inception, and will feature "special guests from the rock and pop world."
