Gucci Mane Is Making Another Movie with Harmony Korine and James Franco

Ever since his release from prison, the great Gucci Mane has been more of a cultural force than ever before. We're already eagerly counting down the days to Woptober, and now we've learned that the Atlanta rap champ is returning to film as well.

Gucci had a brief but highly memorable role alongside James Franco in Harmony Korine's divisive (but excellent) Spring Breakers. He also reteamed with Korine for a Supreme ad earlier this year, and their collaborative streak hasn't ended.

Speaking with GQ, Gucci confirmed that he's also slated to appear in Korine's upcoming film The Trap, which will also feature Franco. In addition to that dynamic trio, the movie includes roles from Benicio Del Toro and Al Pacino.

"He's super creative," Gucci Mane said of Korine. "Me and him work good together because we just freestyle shit, both of us don't have no rigid mind state when we bring something to life. I love to act. It was just a great experience being in Spring Breakers, and it was just the beginning."

Until we get Gucci Mane's next feature film, you can watch his animated video for "All My Children" below.
