Giorgio Moroder Taps Britney Spears, Sia, Charli XCX for New LP

Since his appearance on Daft Punk's 2013 album Random Access Memories, the world has not stopped paying attention to disco elder Giorgio Moroder. The artist has since shared a new single and announced a musical, but that was just the beginning. Now, Moroder has revealed a new album.

The LP will mark Moroder's first widely released solo album since 1992's Forever Dancing. It's set to include guest appearances from a wide variety of performers, including Britney Spears, Kylie Minogue, Sia, Charli XCX, Mikky Ekko, Matthew Koma and others.

In a press release, Moroder said, "Dance music doesn't care where you live. It doesn't care who your friends are. It doesn't care how much money you make. It doesn't care if your [sic] 74 or if you are 24 because… 74 is the new 24!"

While the album is not set to arrive until the spring of 2015 via RCA, the album's lead single "74 Is the New 24" can be streamed below. There's also a music video for it available at the Creators Project.
