On the day that Part 4 of Matt Groening's Disenchantment lands on Netflix, news has also surfaced that the cartoon mastermind's beloved 2000s animated comedy Futurama is getting a 20-episode revival order at Hulu.

As per Variety, original cast members Billy West, Katey Sagal, Tress MacNeille, Maurice LaMarche, Lauren Tom, Phil LaMarr and David Herman will all be returning to the series, which will be helmed by original creators David X. Cohen and Groening. So far, John DiMaggio, who voiced Bender, is not set to return.

"It's a true honour to announce the triumphant return of Futurama one more time before we get cancelled abruptly again," said Groening, referring to the series' cancellation by Fox and Comedy Central throughout its fragmented seven-season run.

"I'm thrilled to have another chance to think about the future… or really anything other than the present," Cohen added.

Production on the series begins this month and the series is likely to air sometime in 2023.
