He'll appear on the show for Season 4

The hit Netflix series Stranger Things wasn't quite strange enough for 2020, meaning the show was forced to pause production on its fourth season due to the coronavirus. Things are kicking back into action now, however, and the show has added some heavy hitters to its next outing.

In keeping with its dedication to all things '80s and horror, the show has added Robert Englund to the cast. If that names familiar, that's because Englund played Freddy Krueger in the original Nightmare on Elm Street series. He'll play Victor Creel, "a disturbed and intimidating man who is imprisoned in a psychiatric hospital for a gruesome murder in the 1950s."

Other additions to the cast include Joseph Quinn, Mason Dye, Eduardo Franco, Nikola Djuricko, Tom Wlaschiha and Sherman Augustus.

Stranger Things Season 4 is currently shooting, and the Duffer brothers also recently confirmed that it won't be the last outing from the show.
