Stunt Driver Dies on 'Deadpool 2' Set
Tragedy has struck the Deadpool 2 production after a stunt driver died on set in Vancouver. As of press time, the stunt woman's name has not been released.

The city's police department released a statement confirming the news, saying, "Vancouver Police can confirm that a female stunt driver has died on the set of Deadpool during a stunt on a motorcycle."

This follows the death of veteran stuntman John Bernecker, who died while shooting The Walking Dead last month.

UPDATE (8/14, 4:15 p.m. EDT): The woman's name has not yet been released, though more details have emerged. An eyewitness told the CBC that the woman completed the same stunt four times. Then, on the fourth try, she crashed through the window of a Starbucks.

Of the accident, 20th Century Fox released a statement that reads, "We are deeply saddened by the accident that occurred on the set of Deadpool 2 this morning. Our hearts and prayers are with the family, friends and colleagues of our crew member during this difficult time."
