There's seemingly no limit to the influence and legend of the late journalist and author David Foster Wallace, meaning an upcoming film about him could be met with praise or hostility. That's yet to be seen, but we do get our first taste of The End of the Tour with a new trailer.
The film comes from James Ponsoldt (The Spectacular Now), and adapts David Lipsky's Of Course You End Up Becoming Yourself. It chronicles Lipsky's time on the road with Wallace, and the bond they form.
Jesse Eisenberg plays David Lipsky while Jason Segel plays David Foster Wallace. Of course, if the trailer is any indication, Eisenberg just comes across like Eisenberg and Segel comes across like Segel in a bandana.
