Dylan Farrow Criticizes Scarlett Johansson for Pro-Woody Allen Comments

Earlier this week, Scarlett Johansson did not mince words when defending her frequent collaborator Woody Allen, who was accused of sexually abusing his adopted daughter Dylan Farrow when she was a child. "I love Woody. I believe him, and I would work with him any time," Johansson said. Now, Farrow has responded.

Taking to Twitter, Farrow shared a link to Johansson's quotes, adding, "Because if we've learned anything from the past two years it's that you definitely should believe male predators who 'maintain their innocence' without question. Scarlett has a long way to go in understanding the issue she claims to champion."

The issue Farrow is referring to is that of standing up in the face of sexual abuse. After all, Johansson is a founding member of the Time's Up organization.

In Scarlett's original quotes, which were published in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, she added, "I love Woody. I believe him, and I would work with him any time."

Johansson knows how to rile up the zeitgeist. Her recent memorable quotes include saying she should be allowed to play "any person, tree or animal" in response to criticism for her whitewashing controversies.
