Writer-director Rick Famuyiwa earned major praise for his film Dope when it screened at Sundance earlier this year, and now the rest of us get a taste with its official trailer.
The film is a coming-of-age crime comedy about a handful of California misfits who get entangled with a drug dealer. As the trailer suggests, it's packed with equal parts humour and action.
In addition to its star Shameik Moore, the film features Zoë Kravitz, A$AP Rocky, Blake Anderson (Workaholics), Tony Revolori (The Grand Budapest Hotel) and many others in its ensemble cast. The trailer also promises four new Pharrell Williams songs in the film.
