If you're worried about coronavirus messing up your holiday plans, buckle up because Dolly Parton is going to save the season with her upcoming new Netflix film Dolly Parton's Christmas on the Square.

News of holiday musical comes a month following the country star's announcement about her own Christmas album, A Holly Dolly Christmas. Among the 12 jolly tracks that are set to arrive this Friday (October 2), one — out today — shares a name with her upcoming film. Surely, not a coincidence.

While the record features five duets — including with Willie Nelson, Miley Cyrus, Michael Bublé, Billy Ray Cyrus and Jimmy Fallon — Parton's Netflix film is set to feature a host of its own "very special artists," such as Christine Baranski (The Good Fight), Jenifer Lewis (Black-ish), Treat Williams and Jeanine Mason.

The musical film — directed and choreographed by Debbie Allen — is set to arrive on the streamer on November 22.

According to IMDb, the movie follows "an embittered 'Scrooge' of a woman" who plans to sell all the properties in her small town right before Christmas. She encounters an angel (played by Parton, of course) who presumably uses the magic of Christmas to convince her to heal her relationships within the community.

Netflix shared details about the upcoming film earlier today. See the announcement below, where you can also listen to "Christmas on the Square" from Parton's forthcoming album.
