Although it's been mostly hated for years, the 1978 TV movie The Star Wars Holiday Special has found some fans over time. Among them is The Mandalorian director Jon Favreau, whose outspoken love of the project likely helped convince Disney+ to bring it back.

The new Star Wars Holiday Special will take place in Lego form, and its events will happen after those in The Rise of Skywalker. Once again, it will see the characters celebrating "Life Day." Characters set to appear in Lego form include Rey, Finn, Poe, Rose and the droids.

The Lego Star Wars Holiday Special will air on November 17. Find some official stills from the project below.
