In addition to the whole gang from the previous movies, Toy Story 4 introduced some beloved new characters. Among them was fan favourite Forky, but unfortunately the character's accompanying merchandise has been recalled.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has teamed up with Disney to recall the Forky 11-inch plush toy due to plastic eyes that can detach and potentially pose a choking hazard.
"Consumers should immediately take the recalled toy away from children and return it to any Disney Store retail location, Walt Disney World, or Disneyland Resort theme park retail store location for a full refund," the agency said.
Approximately 80,000 toys were sold in the United States, while an additional 650 were sold in Canada.
Forky was voiced by Tony Hale, who spoke about the character with great detail in our interview. Hale was recently completed the Exclaim! Questionnaire.
