Jason Dickens, a 45-year-old former child actor who played the character Scott Smith on multiple episodes of Degrassi High, has been arrested in Toronto for making and distributing child pornography.
As the Toronto Star reports, Dickens faces 20 charges, including sexual assault, making, accessing and possessing child pornography, and bestiality, among others.
Police have suggested that Dickens used multiple screen names to create and distribute child pornography. He also frequented fetish websites.

Dickens was not alone in the sting. Dylan Anne McEwan, 31, and another woman have both been arrested in connection with the sting. They each face 10 charges, and are accused of sexually assaulting a child between 2000 and 2006.
