Published Aug 27, 2015Earlier this week, Quentin Tarantino got horror fans into a deep debate when he explained that David Robert Mitchell's beloved It Follows fell short of greatness due to some plot holes. Now, Mitchell has replied.
Speaking with Vulture, Tarantino said, "It's one of those movies that's so good that you start getting mad at it for not being great. The fact that he didn't take it all the way makes me not just disappointed but almost a little angry." He went on to detail the ways in which he found the film to be flawed.
Rather than ignore the comments completely, David Robert Mitchell has responded on Twitter. Though he's rather coy about it all, there's certainly some sort of acidity behind his response:
Hey QT, why don't we get together over a beer and talk about these notes. I have a few of my own for you.— DavidRobertMitchell (@DRobMitchell) August 26, 2015
