Daniel Clowes' Graphic Novel 'Patience' Is Being Adapted into a Film

Daniel Clowes' graphic novel work was seemingly tailor made for the screen. Thanks to the success of Ghost World, we've got our hopes up for the next big Clowes adaptation WilsonBased on its trailer, the film looks to be another winner for Clowes. Up next, he's got yet another film in the works.

Clowes released Patience via Fantagraphics earlier this year, and the book has already been optioned for a film. The novel follows a man who uses a time machine to save his wife from being murdered. 

Patience will become a movie under Focus Features. In a press release, the company's president of production Jim Burke said, "Daniel's story is beautifully imagined. As with all of his works, it is vivid and affecting. Patience will be a thrilling, funny, and moving exploration of emotions we've all experienced."
