Tegan and Sara's High School — a new series based on the duo's memoir of the same name — is set to make its world premiere at TIFF next month. But today, we get our first look at the series with a new trailer.
The show stars TikTok stars turned first-time actors Railey and Seazynn Gilliland, and the trailer features the sister duo being plenty angsty as they navigate jealousy, crushes, co-dependency and songwriting. According to press materials, Railey plays the more "gregarious, confident" Tegan, while Seazynn is the "reserved" Sara.
The trailer is soundtracked by the song "Tegan Didn't Go to School Today," the demo of which was featured on the audiobook of the twins' memoir.
