Celebrate 30 Years of Bueller with Chicago's Ferris Fest

This year marks the 30th anniversary of the stone-cold Matthew Broderick/John Hughes classic Ferris Bueller's Day Off. You could celebrate the momentous occasion with a repeat viewing of the film, or you could shirk your responsibilities and take a few days off of your own to attend Ferris Fest in Chicago.

As Time Out reports [via /Film], Bueller fanatics have organized an impressive "leisure weekend" surrounding the film's milestone.

Taking place from May 20 to 22, the weekend will offer a tour of Bueller filming locations, along with the opportunity to peer into a replica of Ferris' bedroom and check out a 1961 Ferrari 250 GT California Spyder (just make sure you drive it in reverse so Cameron's dad doesn't notice the mileage).

The weekend will also include a screening of Ferris Bueller's Day Off hosted by Richard Roeper at the John and Nancy Hughes Theater. As if that weren't enough, fans will be able to participate in a recreation of the "Twist and Shout" parade.

Tickets for Ferris Fest are available here.
