Canadian couch potatoes can rejoice and get ready for a trip down memory lane because some of this country's most beloved shows are now streaming for free.

A hefty helping of Cancon has hit YouTube thanks to the Encore + channel, bringing some of the best (or at least the most nostalgic) shows back to your screen.

Amongst the titles now available for your viewing pleasure are Degrassi Junior High, The Littlest Hobo, Are You Afraid of the Dark?, Mr. Dressup, Due South, Little Mosque on the Prairie and Ready or Not.

If feature films are more your thing, titles like New Waterford Girl, My American Cousin and I've Heard the Mermaids Singing are also available. There are also plenty of documentaries streaming, including The Corporation, Manufacturing Consent: Noam Chomsky and the Media, Shake Hands with the Devil and The Man Who Skied Down Everest.
