In a stunning display of some of Canada's finest talent, Céline Dion has been recruited to take part in Ryan Reynolds' superhero sequel Deadpool 2. The French-Canadian songstress has contributed a new song called "Ashes" to the upcoming film's soundtrack.
As dramatic as ever, Dion's latest blockbuster ballad is accompanied by a video that finds the diva standing in the spotlight on a stage in an empty theatre (which is, of course, the Colosseum at Caesars Palace, where Celine hosts her Las Vegas residency shows).
The cheese factor is cut with some (hopefully) intentionally hilarious shots of Deadpool himself showing off his interpretive dance skills.
In the words of Dion (or whoever runs her Twitter account), Deadpool 2 will be "the most insane ride of your life" and have you "laughing your 'ashes' off."

Deadpool 2 hits theatres May 18. On that same day, Deadpool 2: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack will see release via Twentieth Century Fox Film and Columbia Records.
In addition to the new Dion original, the OST boasts another via a collaborative track by Diplo, French Montana and Lil Pump, who are contributing a new song called "Welcome to the Party."
