Busy Philipps revealed earlier today that her late-night talk show Busy Tonight will be dropped from the E! network after May 16.

"Busy Tonight's last episode for E! will air Thursday, May 16, with a special celebratory half-hour," a rep for the network said in a statement. "Busy is a hilarious and charismatic talent and we are grateful to the entire Busy Tonight team who has delivered countless laughs and heartwarming moments in what will be over 100 episodes."

Philipps said on Twitter, "I'm beyond proud of what we've built in such a short period of time and I'm hopeful we can find the right place for the show to live on."

In more detailed Instagram story videos, the TV host revealed that she is shopping the project around to other networks in hopes of continuing the four-nights-a-week show.

"Look, we're meeting with people and seeing if there's another place that makes sense for it to go. Because I would like to continue doing it," she said. "We would all like to figure out a way to continue to make it. It's wild because we've only been doing the show for a relatively short period of time. In that time, I feel we've been able to accomplish so much creatively and I guess culturally and I think we've had a real point of view."

The show premiered last October, after the release of her memoir This Will Only Hurt a Little. It was bumped from 10 p.m. to 11 p.m. in January — a move believed to be "a vote of confidence" at the time.
