Brooklyn Nine-Nine had a wild roller coaster ride when it was cancelled by Fox then saved by NBC before Chelsea Peretti quit and the show's corgi died. Things have settled down significantly, however, and the show has now been renewed for Season 8.

That's impressive considering Season 7 hasn't even started yet. The show will make its NBC return in February 2020, and it's now been given the go-ahead on another batch of episodes.

As Deadline reports, Brooklyn Nine-Nine has emerged as a hit on SVOD, which increases its value drastically in the age of streaming services. In fact, the show is estimated to be the most popular off-network live-action comedy series on Hulu.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine will return fro Season 7 on February 6.
