The third Bill & Ted movie has been sending us on an emotional rollercoaster as it was definitely happening and definitely not happening. Thankfully, earlier this year Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter confirmed that they're stepping back into their roles. Today, we've learned Bill and Ted have daughters now, and both will be appearing in the upcoming Bill & Ted Face the Music.
Brigette Lundy-Paine (Atypical, The Glass Castle) will star as Bill Preston's daughter Thea Preston, while Samara Weaving (SMILF, Three Billboards Outside of Ebbing, Missouri) will star as Ted Logan's daughter Billie Logan. Yes, it looks as though Bill and Ted named their daughters after one another.
"When we saw Samara and Brigette together, it was like deja vu. It was exactly the way we felt when we first saw Keanu and Alex," producer Scott Kroopf said in a statement. "We are so thrilled to have this funny and unique pair join the Bill and Ted team!"
Bill & Ted Face the Music will be released on August 21, 2020. Watch the two stars announce the project in a previously released video below.
