As previously reported, Steven Spielberg has teamed up with Disney to bring Roald Dahl's iconic children's book The BFG. to the big screen. Today, we get our first taste with a teaser trailer.
The film was scripted by Melissa Mathison, the late screenwriter who previously worked with Spielberg on E.T. Those looking for that sort of vibe, however, will have to look elsewhere, as The BFG instead looks like it's going to have a fantastical element not unlike Harry Potter.
That said, based on the brief tease, The BFG looks like it's going to be one hell of an awesome family movie to see in 3-D.
